"Chialer" - French definition and pronunciation

📖 Definition of the word "blubber".

We use the word "cry" like we use the word "weep". They mean the same thing. We'll say "I'm blubbering, you're blubbering, he's blubbering, we're blubbering, you're blubbering, they're blubbering". It's generally used to make fun of someone who complains a lot. This word doesn't have the same scope as "cry"; it's more pejorative. It's used when you're annoyed, irritated or want to be sarcastic with someone.

Stop crying!

🗣 Pronunciation in French

🥳 Use in a close, familiar environment

"Yes it's okay, we understand you're sad, stop crying"

"Would you stop crying for two minutes?"

"No, but look how they've been crying all morning..."

👩🏼‍💻 Use in a professional, formal environment

It's a word to be taken a little like an insult, said when you're pretty annoyed with someone. Don't use it with your boss.
