Video Transcript

Hello everyone, I hope you're doing well.

Today, we're going to look at the French expression "avoir un coup de mou." Before we begin, remember to turn on subtitles so you can follow the entire video. "Avoir un coup de mou" means to feel a bit down, to experience a passing wave of fatigue. You're not in great shape. It can be physical or psychological, but you're having "un coup de mou."

Let me give you some examples. They'll help you better understand the expression and especially be able to use it yourself. Here's a first example. I had "un petit coup de mou" after lunch. I had eaten too much. I just wanted to sleep, not work. Here's a second example. Every time I have "un petit coup de mou," I watch a Jim Carrey movie and I feel much better. I feel much more cheerful and positive.

And finally, here's one last example to really help you understand. Every time I have "un petit coup de mou" because I miss my family, I call them on Skype, on video, and right away I feel much better. If you too are having "un petit coup de mou" because winter is coming and you're feeling tired, make sure to take some vitamins. That's it for today. I hope you liked this expression and learned something new.

If so, don't forget to give a thumbs up. If you're new here, please subscribe. It helps me a lot, and see you very soon. Have a great day!
