Hello everyone, I hope you're doing well.

Today I'm back with a French expression in just a few minutes.

If you're new to the channel, before we start, make sure to subscribe right away so you don't miss any videos.

So, the expression we're going to look at today is "etre au taquet."

"Etre au taquet" is an informal expression meaning to be super motivated, to be full of energy, as if you'd had some Red Bull or taken loads of vitamin C.

You're bursting with energy. Let me give you some examples to help you understand the expression better and, most importantly, so you can use it yourself in sentences. Here's an example: this morning, I'm "au taquet." I've already been running for two hours and swimming for one, and now I think I'm going to bake cookies for the whole family. I have too much energy. Here's a second example. Say I had a job interview this morning - I could say "j'etais au taquet."

During the interview, I was answering all the questions perfectly. I'm sure I'm going to get the job. I was so motivated to get this position. That's it for today's expression. Feel free to put sentences using this expression - "etre au taquet" - in the comments to practice using it. I wish you all a wonderful day, and see you very soon for a new video. Have a great day!
