I'm 32 years old, born in Belgium. I graduated in communication and journalism. I created HelloFrench in 2020 with my husband, during the first lockdown, to make learning French more accessible.

When I learned English at school, it was very academic and bookish. The method was simple: memorize vocabulary lists, constantly translating back to my native language. I believe that immersive, authentic exposure to a language is key to real progress.
My background
I worked as a journalist in Brussels, then as a content manager and communications lead in Paris for over 5 years. In September 2021, I decided to leave it all behind and go full-time with HelloFrench.
My method
Everyday French, not textbook French. Slang, practical vocabulary, daily expressions. On HelloFrench, all content is in French - no translations, no shortcuts. It might feel challenging at first, but you will progress faster this way.
